Meet Hanha. A blogger, author, and follower of Christ. In this week’s feature, Hanha talks about receiving healing from brokenness, leaning on God’s strength, and finding freedom in His promises.
Q: What does “Confidence Without Compromise” mean to you?
A: To me, confidence without compromise means loving God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength. It means being confident in where He has me and obedient in what He wants me to do. It’s choosing Him above everything else, being comfortable with discomfort, and okay with choosing to stand out even when all I want to do is fit in. It’s living a life of calling where God says I am His chosen child.
Q: How has your faith given you confidence?
A: God completely changed my whole entire life!
I grew up in church, but I didn’t really have a relationship with God until my freshman year of college. During that time, I was so broken. I was insecure, lost, empty, confused, and prideful. I placed my identity in things of the world like my academics, the opinions of others, the idols of success, and the desire to be perfect.
But since walking with God, I have been overwhelmed by His faithfulness and how He chose to love me in spite of my brokenness.
He pursued me when I didn’t want to be pursued and accepted me when I couldn’t even accept myself. That has given me the confidence to know that I am more than a conqueror through Him, so I’ve been living my life for Him ever since!
Q: What is a go-to Bible verse that you turn to when you need confidence or hope?
A: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Anytime I feel like I can’t do something in my own strength, I can trust God, knowing that His strength is made PERFECT in my weaknesses; I can be confident in my lack because He makes up the difference!
Q: What encouragement would you give to other young women regarding living for the Lord?
A: My best piece of advice that I could give to any young woman regarding living for the Lord is to spend consistent time with Him. Just like in any relationship, it is so important to spend quality time with the person.
Everything you need in this life can be found in God’s presence.
John 15:5 says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
God has such amazing plans for you, and He loves you more than you could ever comprehend. He wants to reveal His promises to you, and there is nothing sweeter than His love. Spending time with Him will help you uncover your greatest fears and doubts, and eventually you’ll start to experience the freedom that can only be found in Him! You’ll never be the same.

I love being a resource in helping them grow in their relationship with Christ!
