What does it look like to trust God in uncertainty?
It’s easy to say we trust the Lord, but I find our faith is really tested when it comes to understanding His timing in our lives. So, in today’s Ask LizMargaret video, we’re talking about how to truly trust God in seasons of transition — especially when we’re faced with unknowns, stresses, and making decisions.
Do you find it challenging to hear God’s voice? Have you ever felt confused about where He’s leading you? Do you sometimes feel like God is just silent?
Introducing: Being Led by God
Being Led by God is a five-day look into understanding God’s voice and His leading in your life. This devotional is a FREE digital download you can read anytime.
And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.
(Psalm 9:10 ESV)
I’ve been curious about the topic of hearing God’s voice for a long time.
To think that an all-powerful and all-knowing God loves us so much that He desires a personal relationship with us through His son Jesus Christ. The same God who is perfect (Deuteronomy 32:4), capable of doing the impossible (Luke 18:27), and created all things (Colossians 1:16) sees me, sees you, and wants to be involved in our lives. (I’m in awe of that!)
But I remember being confused about what it actually looked like to hear Him and follow His voice in my everyday life.
Today, we’re going back to the past and talking all about college.
I’m very grateful for the time I had as a student because I grew so much in my faith (and honestly, it’s one of the biggest reasons why I started blogging!) — but it came with some crucial lessons I had to learn.
So, here are 10 things I wish I knew back then. Click below to watch:
Let’s be honest: It can be extremely hard to shake the feeling of fear. One moment it seeps into your mind, and the next thing you know, you’re in an endless cycle of worry. But here’s the beautiful truth: God has promises for your life to give you peace even in uncertainty and doubt. No matter your circumstances, you have access to freedom from your Heavenly Father.
We’re tackling fear, the future, and finding peace in today’s Bible study on Matthew 6:25-34.
Hey, friends! The blog is back, and I’m so excited to share a NEW video with you.
God’s Word is filled with incredible wisdom on the heart — and Proverbs 4:23 gives us a clear and familiar instruction: “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (NLT). We’re diving into this verse and looking at what it truly means to guard our heart. Today’s devotional will give you practical tips from scripture on how to manage your heart and mind, and ultimately, how it can transform your life.
Hey, all! I hope you’ve been staying safe and at peace during this time. I pray that even with the coronavirus outbreak, we hold onto wisdom and faith — and not fear. I’ve been thinking more and more about who God is and the fact that He is faithful and all-powerful, especially when we face challenging and unpredictable moments on earth.
And with that, I hope to give you some encouragement with a NEW video that’s up on the blog today!
I’ve been asked some thought-provoking faith questions over time, so I felt it’d be helpful to compile them all in a Faith Q&A on my YouTube channel. Here are some topics can you expect:
Happy fall! I’m celebrating my birthday this year by (finally) uploading again on my YouTube channel.
In honor of becoming a year older, here’s a list of 23 lessons I learned in 23 years. Little life lessons about faith, God, and perspective. Hope this encourages you as we reflect together.
