The most dreaded moments in college went a little like this: Opening a Word document to write an essay due in five hours and staring at a blank page. Not knowing where to start. Wondering how Iād be able to complete it in a short amount of time. (And probably thinking, Why didnāt I start this earlier?!)
āBlank pagesā in our lives give us similar worries. That opportunity you thought was for you, but it passed by. That open door youāve been praying for, and the door closed. The answer youāve been seeking out, but it hasnāt come. You thought, This is the beginning of a beautiful story, but it never got written.Ā
When weāre faced with blank pages, our typical response is to fill them. We get uncomfortable in the waiting and the what-ifs. We wonder if God hears our prayers. We take matters into our own hands. We become a bit restless. We rush. We plan. We panic.
But give God a blank page, and itās a different story.Ā
When you let God fill in the blanks of your life, you encounter His best version of your life.
