Meet Hannah. A mental health advocate, content creator, and follower of Christ. In this week’s feature, Hannah talks about finding unshakeable confidence in Christ, standing firm in trials, and living beyond the past.

Q: What does “Confidence Without Compromise” mean to you?

A: Confidence without compromise to me means having consistent and stable confidence throughout every season of life. There is so much in life that tries to break your confidence, but having an anchor and unchanging source of confidence will help you stand firm, despite the things that try to steal it.

Q: How has your faith given you confidence?

A: My faith is the foundation of my identity. Because I know Whose I am, I know who I am. Nothing can take the confidence I have in being a beloved daughter. It doesn’t matter who the world says I am, what my past is, my sin and weaknesses–none of it matters, because I was bought by the blood of Jesus and am worth more than rubies! His grace and love for me gives me a confidence unlike any other.

The world gives us a temporary and self-centered confidence that cannot compare to the confidence of being a child of God.

That confidence is my joy and allows me to be bold in who I am, because I know I was fearfully and wonderfully made by the God of the universe. He makes no mistakes, and even in my weakness, He makes all things good and for my good. So, I know I don’t have to look anywhere else for my security and confidence.

Q: What is a go-to Bible verse that you turn to when you need confidence or hope?

A: Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” When I’m stressed, down, or hopeless, I simplify life down to this one verse; all I have to do is seek Him, and He does the rest.

Q: What encouragement would you give to other young women regarding living for the Lord?

A: Find yourself in Christ. When exploring who you are and what you like, do it under Him.

You can lose yourself rather than find yourself when you try to do it in the world.

What better way to discover who you are than with the One who created you. The more you get to know God, the more you understand yourself and why you were created. That understanding is life-changing.

A: There has been so much healing and light being shed on this very darkened and hidden topic since I’ve started being involved. I see how God is working in people’s hearts and breaking chains.
