Meet Tiffany. A vlogger, motivator, and follower of Christ. In this week’s feature, Tiffany talks about choosing relationship over religion, discovering God’s purpose for our lives, and following His call–even when we’re afraid.

Q: What does “Confidence Without Compromise” mean to you?

A: I believe “Confidence Without Compromise” means to trust without wavering! If you have true confidence in something, you will believe in it no matter the circumstances.

Q: How has your faith given you confidence?

A: My faith has given me confidence by showing me that I am unconditionally loved, and that I was created with a purpose! Walking in this truth, I realize and understand that there is NOTHING I can (or cannot) do that will keep me from God’s love. His love is endless, unwavering, and relentless! Growing up, I didn’t fully understand this concept.

I felt like if I did something wrong or “unholy,” I was considered less than, and that God no longer loved me the way that He did before.

Later in my 20s, I began to dive deeper into a true relationship with God rather than just practicing religion.

Learning more about who God is by reading the Word and having active conversations with Him opened my heart and mind to so much love and peace. He showed me (and continues to show me) that if I continue to cultivate a relationship with Him, He will reveal my purpose and who He has created me to be. I can’t help but get excited when I think about how valuable I am to the Lord and how much He genuinely loves me!

Q: What is a go-to Bible verse that you turn to when you need confidence or hope?

A: Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” If I will commit to putting God first and at the center of my life, He will guide me!

Q: What encouragement would you give to other young women regarding living for the Lord?

A: It is completely okay to be different and to go against the grain.

Let go of the need to fit in and conform.

Trust in the truth that you are loved and valued no matter what flaws you think you have or wrong actions you feel you’ve committed. Tell this to yourself daily: I was created because God loves me and sees a great purpose for me!

I have a YouTube Channel called “Tilago’s Tidbits.” The name “Tilago” is a combination of the first two letters from my first, middle, and last name. On this channel, I give quick “tidbits” that empower others to live their lives with a more positive and motivated mindset!

Q: How have you seen God work in your life and the lives of others during your involvement?

A: God has shown me that when He gives you a vision or instruction for something, go for it–no matter the circumstances. I am very outgoing and upbeat, but I still feel like I’m facing a fear by creating a YouTube channel. Despite my fears, God has shown me that I am capable, and He has equipped me with everything I need to fulfill this purpose! My viewers shoot me messages to let me know when a video has impacted them, caused them to change their perspective on different aspects of their lives, or helped them find ways to live with a more positive mindset.
