Meet Rebecca. A content creator, vlogger, and storyteller. In today’s feature, Rebecca talks about living shamelessly for Christ and finding a new hope in Him.

Q: What does “Confidence Without Compromise” mean to you?

A: “Confidence without compromise” to me means that you own what you believe! You don’t water it down, settle it down, but lift it up! You don’t let the world tell you who to be, because you are confidently who you are in Christ.

Q: How has your faith given you confidence?

A: Oh my, oh my! It’s given me tremendous amounts of hope and joy (along with so much more).

My faith speaks life into the mundanity of daily routine–that there is a purpose for everything.

But more noticeably, the Spirit has given me boldness to stand proudly for what I believe and who I serve.

Q: What is a go-to Bible verse that you turn to when you need confidence or hope?

A: What an impossible question! So many verses, so many choices…As of this year, it’s been Psalm 16:5-11, but for simplicity’s sake I’ll say verse 11: “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” This verse comforts my soul that God is all I need.

Q: What encouragement would you give to other young women regarding living for the Lord?

A: It’s so worth it. It’s so worth dropping who the world says you need to be and how you should think in order to follow Jesus.

I used to be scared about giving my life 100% to God, but that was the devil using fear against me.

It’s really only through Jesus Christ that I was freed from my insecurities, my pain, my brokenness, and feeling lost in general. It was only through Him that I tasted real life and what is soo, soo sweet.

Q: How have you seen God work in your life and the lives of others during your involvement?

A: Oh yes!!! It’s what encouraged me to keep the video Bible study series going. So many young and older women reached out to me to say how their relationship with God has gotten so much better…And that encourages my tiny heart. At the end of the day, even if it’s only five viewers, I want to do it for the glory of God.
